Can you believe that there are bidding wars again for properties? I have seen this first hand as we have had buyers lose homes because they low bid. The bottom line is, you have to bid fair value for a property no matter what the seller is asking, because if you don’t, someone else will.

As the seller, the best way to get top $$$ for your property is to offer it lower than fair market value, then you will likely receive multiple offers and get more than you originally wanted in the first place.
